OSTA now features a Twitter feed. Now you can get OSTA information on-the-go and add your own 2 cents worth in 140 character bursts.
Last year we initiated a Ning! site through which members can interact. Although the OSTA Ning! is largely used by Board of Directors and OSTA committee chairs, we will continue to maintain this site, although some changes may be coming. Ning! shifted to a pay-for-service model this last year and some of the functionality that made the site worthwhile was lost in the free version. We are re-evaluating this aspect of our web presence and you should see a change in the next few months.
But what about Twitter? Now you can get instant OSTA updates on new postings. But there’s more! We follow a number of scientific and science-related government sites and you can follow them as well when visiting the the OSTA Twitter page. There are a surprisingly large number of resources reference by these Twitter posts and their timely presence adds a new dimension to the OSTA web experience.
So click on the OSTA Twitter icon and follow OSTA (aka OKLASTA).
