OSTA Members elected a new Board of Directer this week-end at the OSTA Fall Conference. The new Board assumes it’s new duties January 1 at the beginning of OSTA’s fiscal year. Beth Allan, current OSTA Vice President/ President elect, begins her term as OSTA President at that time as well. One of her first duties is to appoint members to the OSTA Standing Committees. The committee that gets the biggest workout each year is the Professional Development Committee. How about volunteering to serve on this committee? Just as “many hands make light work” and “the more, the merrier”, a large Professional Development Committee means great service to the greater good for minimal output of personal resources. Just let Beth know you are interested.
